Contacting me does not create an engagement

Contacting Meridian Strategy Lab does not create an advisory or client relationship. An engagement begins only when scope and terms are agreed in writing.

Information sent before that point is not confidential and is not subject to any duty of confidentiality. It also does not prevent me from working with other parties on the same or a related matter, including parties whose interests may differ from yours.

Please do not send confidential, proprietary, or commercially sensitive information in a first message. Describe the situation at the level you would be comfortable using in a general business conversation. If the matter cannot be discussed usefully without confidentiality, say so and we can put a mutual non-disclosure agreement in place first.

Email is not a secure channel, and I cannot guarantee the security of information sent over the internet.

Where confidentiality does come from

Confidentiality obligations arise from a signed non-disclosure agreement or from the terms of an engagement, on terms agreed between the parties. Those agreements, not this page, govern how information is handled.

Content on this site

Material on this site is general information about how I approach strategic questions. It is not advice on any specific situation and should not be relied on as such.

What this site collects

This site sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device. The readiness diagnostic runs entirely in your browser; your answers are never transmitted or stored.

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It records the page viewed, the referring page, browser and operating system, page-load performance, and the country derived from your IP address, which is not itself stored. It sets no cookies, creates no persistent identifier, builds no individual profile, and does not follow you to other sites. Any standard content blocker will stop it from loading.

The site is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard technical logs, including IP addresses, for security and operation.

If you email me

I receive your name, your email address, and whatever you choose to include. I use it to respond and to assess whether the work is a fit. I do not sell it, share it with third parties for marketing, or add anyone to a mailing list.

I retain correspondence for as long as it is needed for that purpose and for any applicable legal, tax, or record-keeping requirement. You may ask me to access, correct, or delete correspondence by writing to the address below, and I will do so where applicable law requires and where no legal or legitimate business reason requires retention.
